My Jord!

What is his name? Jordan Scott Nicholls
How long have you been married? Almost two years, On May 19th!
How long did you date? We dated 7 months before we got engaged, and we were engaged for 6 months! (It was a long engagement because we were both in school)
How old is he? 24
Who eats more? Jord
Who said "I love you" first? Jordan, the night before I left for school at Utah State.
Who kissed who first? I did, I am not very patient!
Who is taller? I am! I don’t know exactly how tall each of us are, I just know I am a little taller.
Who sings better? Neither of us, we don’t sing!
Whose temper is worse? Probably mine, I have always been so impressed with how Jordan handles all situations, I usually just freak out!
Who does the laundry? I do, but I will give Jordan the laundry basket and ask him to help me fold. Jord is the best sock folder ever, I know that sounds weird but I have never seen anything like it!
Who does the dishes? Jordan, but I do them when he has to hurry off to the school after dinner. But normally, I cook, he cleans up.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Jordan, I have tried to sleep on that side before but I can't.
Who pays the bills? Jordan balances the checkbook on the computer, and I pay the tithing and all the bills that require a check.
Who mows the lawn? Well, when we were first married we lived with my parents for 2 months (the only time we somewhat had a lawn) and we did it together. I have always liked mowing the lawn, I just cant empty it.
Who cooks dinner? I do, I really enjoy cooking! I love finding new recipes and trying out new things. I get it from a mother & sister who are great cooks.
Who drives when you are together? Jord, and he always opens my door! Love him.
Who is more stubborn? Depends on what it is about, but probably me.
Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? I don’t know…I don’t like to fight so if we get mad at each other, I am usually the first to compromise and say I am sorry.
Who proposed? Jord, on Christmas Eve!! Best Christmas Ever!
Who has more friends? I have more friends that I keep in touch with, Jordan makes friends a lot faster than I do. So probably Jordan.
Who has more siblings? Jordan, He has 1 brother and 3 sisters. I have 2 Brothers and 1 Sister.
Who wears the pants? Oh, I definitely do! jk
Funny Jordan Story: When Jordan and I were first married, One night I was complaining to him about how my feet hurt because they were sunburned. He told me, “Kelli, it will be okay.” I snapped back at him, telling him that is not what I wanted to hear. I explained, that I wanted him to be sensitive and ask questions like, “How long have they hurt?” or tell me that he felt bad for me. About an hour later, I was in our bedroom putting away laundry and I accidently shut my hand in the dresser drawer. I started screaming and Jordan runs into the room and says…. “How long has it hurt?” We both busted up laughing! I guess he was listening...I still laugh when I think about it. Sometimes I feel like I am married to a 5 year old! Love you Jord!

I tag Shaylee Deelstra, Katie Hammond and Katie Nelson, because all three of them need to update their blogs!

Moving!

For those of you that don’t know, Jordan and I have moved in with my parents in Layton while our house is being built. I thought this was a great idea, now I am not so sure. I always hated moving my stuff from Layton to Logan when I went to Utah State. Cake walk! Now that I am married I have realized how much stuff we actually have. I dont know how people do it! As we have been packing I am big on if we don’t need it put it in the DI pile. Jordan will go though things and keep everything. Including the electronics that have been broken for years. (He wants to take them apart) I guess he is getting into the right profession. Needless to say, we have moved…it is over. Thank goodness.

Jordan and I have really enjoyed living at Shoreline Ridge at the University of Utah. There were things that we didn’t like, but it was definitely out weighed by how convenient it was for Jordan’s late night studying and what great people we met while living there. Jordan and I would always talk about how amazing our ward was and how successful everyone will be. We are really sad to leave, but so excited to move on to new things.

Our Wood Box!

Jordan and I are in the process of moving everything we own into a storage unit. Good thing it wasn't open when the picture was taken! Who really knew how much stuff two people could collect over a two year period? But I have to say, we have been very good at playing Tetris with all our boxes! We are moving to my parent’s house in Layton, Utah at the end of this week. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing that in a few short months we will be moving out into this wonderful wood box. Well, hopefully by then it is much more. This picture was taken this last Sunday; we were really excited to see how quickly they have been framing. It probably looks like a mess to all of you, but I get so excited each time I look at it. It is our mess!

This week has been really stressful for me, and yes, I know...it is only Tuesday!! As of Sunday, I am no longer the Primary President. I thought I would be less stressed when this happened, but honestly I am really sad. We had a smaller primary and I just grew to love every single one of those kids. I was so amazed by how well they have been taught the gospel, they are all so bright. When I got the calling, Jordan was sure that now I wouldn’t want to have kids for years. But really, I could have taken any one of them home with me! But, I passed everything on to the new and wonderful President Annette! She is going to be so great!

When I was called they gave me keys to the church building. I was so careful with these keys, Jordan would use them and I would make sure they got put right back in my bag. Well, now that I have to pass them on I cannot find them for the life of me and I am so distraught! I keep playing through my mind when I last had them. I am pretty sure they are located somewhere in our church building. Way to leave a mark, right?

Happy Anniversary!

Today, my sister and Brother in law (Barb and Lane) have been married for 3 years! That is crazy. Lane just graduated from Utah State University in Marketing and Barb is working in the Accounting department at Jack's Tire and Oil. They are at such a fun time in their lives. They still live in Logan, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will move to Davis County! Congradulations Barb and Lane, I love you!
